Systemic family therapy and individual counseling for people who want to better understand their family relationships, emotional patterns, and the impact of life experiences
Family therapy helps us understand how family relationships affect our feelings and behavior. It looks at a person together with their loved ones and life experiences, rather than separately from them. Family therapy does not seek to find someone to blame, but rather to better understand what is happening in the family. This understanding often leads to change that supports both the person themselves and their relationships.
Let’s get acquainted! My name is Enelis. I am studying family therapy at the second level and have begun my family therapy practice. This means that I study and practice at the same time—because that’s how one truly becomes more skilled. I am also supported by a mentor, so I have strong professional backing. Because of this, when you come to see me, you receive support on two levels.
I have worked for over 10 years in fields related to children and young people (e.g. the Child Helpline 116 111, the National Institute for Health Development, the Social Insurance Board) and have led teams focused on supporting people and fostering collaborative development. During my work with children and young people, I increasingly began to see and understand how important it is to recognize that there are always reasons behind young people’s challenging behavior, and that change also requires supporting their close ones and families.
In addition to my family therapy practice, I am the founder and a board member of the NGO Sa Suudad. The main focus of the NGO is the inclusion and advocacy of young people who experience or have experienced high-risk behavior, and through the NGO we increasingly aim to move toward a systemic approach (supporting families, close ones, and communities).
Over time, I have become increasingly curious about how relationships around us shape our well-being, choices, and identity, and I believe this is exactly what led me to train in family therapy.
I am also a member of the Estonian Family Therapy Association.
See you soon!
Enelis Linnas
Enelis is an exceptionally good listener who is able to create a safe and supportive atmosphere where I feel understood and cared for.
She has helped me discover myself as a person and better understand the relationships in my life.
She does not impose solutions, but always helps to make sense of possible next steps.
In my opinion, her greatest strength is her ability to ask clarifying questions that help better understand the feelings and thoughts that lie beneath the surface.
I believe that change begins with safe connection, and that before anything within us or around us can begin to shift, we need to be truly heard and understood.
This is how I work with people—by being genuinely present, listening, trying to understand, and helping to make sense of what is happening.
I welcome families, couples, and individuals to sessions—anyone who senses difficulties in the family they have created or the family they come from.
Through a systemic approach and drawing on my knowledge and experience, I support you in exploring your relationship patterns and their impact on you.
When needed, I help with coping with difficult emotions and support you in making relationships more supportive. I help you remember or rediscover your strengths that support coping even in more challenging moments in life. Within all of us there is a wealth of strengths—resources we have received from previous generations and, in turn, pass on to the next.
